This Privacy Policy explains what information Frame Board ("we," "us," or "our") collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with.

We do not collect patient data

Frame Board is built to analyze frame inventory only. We do not collect, request, or store any patient health information, medical records, or protected health information of any kind. The data you upload is business inventory data: frame brand, model, dates, quantities, and pricing.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: your email address and practice name.
  • Inventory data you upload: frame brand, model, dates received, quantities, wholesale cost, and optional retail price.
  • Billing information: your subscription plan and payment status. Card and bank details are collected and stored directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide the dashboard, calculations, and reports you see in the Service.
  • Generate the optional AI summary, which sends only already calculated metrics (not raw data) to our AI provider.
  • Process subscription payments and manage your account.
  • Communicate with you about your account or the Service.

3. Third Party Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers to operate Frame Board, each of whom processes data on our behalf:

  • Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
  • Vercel — hosts the Frame Board application.
  • Anthropic — generates the optional AI summary from your already calculated metrics.
  • Stripe — processes subscription payments and stores payment method details.

We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share one practice's data with another practice.

4. Data Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Your practice's inventory data is isolated at the database level so that only members of your practice can access it, enforced independently of the application code.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email below.

7. Cookies

We use a minimal, essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

Frame Board is a business tool intended for use by optometry practice staff and is not directed at children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
