Terms of Service

Last updated August 10, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Frame Board ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Frame Board Does

Frame Board is a software tool for optometry practices that analyzes uploaded frame inventory data to identify slow moving stock, flag frames that need reordering, and generate a plain language summary of that analysis. Frame Board is a business analytics tool. It does not provide clinical, medical, financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing in the Service should be treated as such.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Each account is associated with one practice. You are responsible for who at your practice has access to your account.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the billing management link in your account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of the inventory data you upload to Frame Board. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and analyze that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your data, and we do not share one practice's data with another practice.

5. AI Generated Summaries

Frame Board includes an optional feature that generates a plain language summary of your already calculated inventory metrics using a third party AI model. The underlying numbers are calculated by deterministic, non AI logic. The AI generated text is provided for convenience only, may occasionally be imprecise in its phrasing, and should not be treated as a substitute for reviewing the underlying data yourself before making business decisions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access another practice's data, interfering with the Service's operation, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

Frame Board, its software, design, and branding are owned by us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the Service as intended.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any recommendation it produces will result in a particular business outcome.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
